SATB2 Walk-a-thon
2km a day for the month of May
Walk for a cause and help support much needed SATB2 research in Australia.
By registering for the SATB2 Walk-a-thon, you pledge to walk 2km a day in May – that is 62km in the month of May! Help to raise awareness and advocate for much needed SATB2 research in Australia. By participating, you are helping to raise money for this research to help support SATB2 families in Australia.
How will this walk-a-thon make a difference for people with SATB2?
Currently, there is no research being conducted in Australia. The SATB2 Gene Foundation Australia has partnered with the University of Sydney and Curtin University to begin research projects in Australia to better support our SATB2 families. This will ensure individuals and their families with SATB2 can be supported with research that is based on our Australian population. Through walking for a cause and committing to 2km a day in May, you will be raising funds to support this much needed research which will aid in better supporting those with SATB2 and its associated symptoms.
